Youth Pastor Search

We are searching for a new Assistant Pastor!

Qualifications

Character above reproach
High energy and self-motivated
Spiritual gifts in leadership and teaching
Love for both Christians and unchurched people
Ability to develop and lead groups
Passionate about connecting the youth and parents to church
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong people skills
Ability to work with Pastoral staff to assist in executing the church's vision for the youth ministry
Ability to develop strong relationships with congregants
Endorse and support Life Change Baptist Church's mission, vision, and statement of faith and be a member in good standing of the church

Primary Responsibilities

Plan and conduct weekly services in English Service
Develop youth leaders that help lead ministries
Partner with public schools, campus activities, and clubs to build relationships with non-church youth
Plan special events that foster spiritual and personal growth including but not limited to retreats and missions
Follow up with first-time visitors and congregation members that become inactive
Develop and implement creative and effective ministry programs and enviornments
Help plan and conduct life groups/gatherings
Provide care, growth, and leadership
Create pathways to reach out to peers for Christ
Other duties assigned by Pastoral Staff

Salary and Benefits

$45,000 to $60,000 annually (full time)
Healthcare and vacations provided
No remote work
For candidates that are not yet pastors, those seeking licensure/ordination may still be considered
